DHT11 Sensor Demo with AVR's Interrupt and Timer

0

This is a demo of DHT11 relative humidity-temperature sensor using interrupt and timer of a ATMega8515L. Interrupt + timer based method don't block program sequence unlike polling methods and so the CPU can do other tasks. Falling edge interrupt is used to detect the output from the sensor and a timer detects pulse widths.

Driving Flexible Neopixel (WS2811) Strip with PICAXE08M2+ (PIC12F1840)

0

PICAXE is basically PIC micro with different branding. Here I used a PICAXE micro to drive a flexible Neopixel strip using hardware SPI. SPI is used along with the PIC's 32MHz internal oscillator as Neoppixels employ time-slotting trick to transfer data at a very fast rate with small timings. The code is written with CCS PIC C compiler.

This is a simple solar data logging system with just a GLCD, a PIC18F452, a mini solar cell and some basic components. This device can monitor cell voltage, current, temperature and power parameters over a time window. The code is written with CCS PIC C compiler.
